1. General

            The FREGAT ultrafast amplifier system is based on a unique Cr:F (chromium- forsterite) crystal active medium, producing <100 fs pulses at 1230 nm wavelength. The wavelength is in high demand for fundamental and material research, femtosecond micromachining, plasma and ultrafast ablation studies and many more applications.

            The system laser head comprises the seed oscillator with integrated pump laser, regenerative amplifier with stretcher and compressor, amplifier pump laser and synchronization electronics.Pulse energies produced by the FREGAT start with 200 uJ@1 kHz and reach 1 mJ@50 Hz, while custom systems are available with peak pulse power >1TW.

Just some quick hints before you send us an RFQ:

1. The price grows higher with higher repetition rates, not really with pulse energies. The 200 uJ@1 kHz system is the same price as 1 mJ@50 Hz.
